Family trip

It has been a terribly looooooooooooooooooooooong time since my whole family boarded the MRT together.

Ever since my dad hung up his boots, he has to get used to taking public transport again...

Ha ha it was really fun... and funny when my dad took his first MRT ride in many years. He kept asking us how to go about with the EZ card and haha he looked so funny when he was doing that.

To me... whatever my father does.. is funny. HAHA

So today after school, i have to take the train to Lavender to get my new passports. Met my family there then my father very excited rush inside the building and repeated the same question over and over again (as usual) to the security uncle who happened to be very nice:)

We found our way to a sea of over 300 people and about 15 counters available..

We sat down on the floor near the glass pane since there were no seat available.

My mother said it reminds her of the days she queued up for the MACDONALD'S HELLO KITTY. LOL

My father was walking around the building... hai too hyperactive liao cannot stood still haha

we waited for more than 2 hours.... but doesn't really feel like it cos i was making fun of mummy all the time.. then she cannot stand it went to sit on the empty seat my brilliant dad managed to find in the crowd.

On our way home... (mrt again lor...) we were all standing up cos it seems like we're all fated to stand today.

Then at Newton i think.. there was one caucasian guy who resembled Ty Pennington from Extreme Makeover Home Edition came into our car.

My whole family (excluding my dad cos he was looking around as usual haha) looked at him. He is about 175m tall, brown short hair, flushed face (due to the weather ba), deep blue eyes.

My mum agreed that he looked like the tv host... something about him resembled my father. The man was walking to and fro, around the area he occupy (train was quite empty but limited seats as it was those new maroon interior train) He also looked at us from time to time, must be wondering why we're staring at him. haha

After he got off the 4 of us began chattering away. I told them how come caucasian can have diff eye colours and asian only have 2 types... brown and dark brown... I like asian eye colours though... our eye colour defines innocence... i like it:D

I like blue eyes... they're beautiful... cos all my dolls from childhood years have blue eyes... and O have blue eyes... James have blue eyes.

But that doesn't make me like caucasian guys okok mei mei!

I think i belong to the traditional type... so i can never understand how an ang moh thinks.

It's just that i'm born into the wrong generation. haha

Hee hee a while ago i embarrassed myself again... but luckily it is Chou Meng.

Shall not elaborate on that haha... but i wanna say that he is really a nice guy and a good friend! Happy to see him around!

Maybe those born with the letter C in their first name are nice... Charis, Cm...

I got a feeling some of you are protesting le... haha L also very nice!

I'm really happy today... cos i got together with my family, O shared a lot of things with me today and he promised to call again..

One thing about me... if you tell me something you're going to do e.g call me, email me, something in particular la...

I will wait till i couldn't take it and doze off..

Happened quite a few times with O... but i don't dare to tell him

bet he will be taken aback, knowing what a weirdo i am.. haha

I'm so tired now... but i've to wait for the call again... waiting is such a hard thing to do.

Dreams

Yesterday, O's friend Babara (who is 7 months pregnant) came to his house with her baby, James to spend the weekends at.

I like James a lot... a very cute, chubby and active little one. O gave me James's picture a while back and i use it as my wallpaper=D

Just a few hours ago, i was surprised to see O online as he told before 2 days ago that he would be busy playing host to his guests.

He opened his webcam and there he is... with Baby James! =D I was really happy to see the 2 of them together... James on O's lap, playing with his keys and the lucky charm I gave O. James kept putting the keys along with the keychain into his mouth and O did not try to stop him...

When O directed James's attention to the webcam, James looked into it for a while, with a dazzled look on his face. and then return to munching the keys away=D I guess he don't really know what a webcam is for huh? =D

I was really touched that O took the effort to go online and showed me the little darling.. It was really a heartwarming sight.... James sitting comfortably on O's stomach, O adjusting his body in a rather awkward position to accommodate the baby's weight.

O's facial expression... it's as though James is his son.

I wish i could hold James... though he can't be compared to my Rimus (in terms of how much affection i have for him>.<)

There'll be a day when the 3 of us could see one another:) There's got to be a way=D

To Santa: If you happen to read this... please... i wish for a chance to see Baby James and Oliver.. so...maybe an air ticket to France for 2 weeks +parental consent???? I just love Christmas:) It gives people so much hope

Also, many thoughts were brought up by recently from a conversation with a close friend.

Topic is about L.O.V.E

Actually i am in no position to give advice or anything... i just hope my friends could be loved and cared for, by a special someone who's true to them.

I am so sick and sadden by the facts that some of my close friends were being cheated of their feelings by heartless fellows out there.

I know for sure my friends deserved better... it is just so very unfortunate that they got hurt in the process... and i understand that the emotional scar is here to stay...

But again, life still has to go on and hope continues to cling on.... at some point if life there's bound to be setbacks...

Don't cry because it's over... smile because there's people out there who cares=D

For me, I want to treasure every moment i have with my loved ones... Rimus etc because these are the little things in life that makes me happy... makes me realised there is something in life to live for.

And happy things won't last..

Rimus will eventually grow up and memories of me will fade with every new experiences he gained in the process of maturing...

O will eventually settle down with his destined one....

Friends will leave you one by one....

Hopefully by then I will be able to realise some of my dreams...

living in the countryside... yeah! Looking forward to a much awaited Christmas=D

Enchanted

I just love the movie "Enchanted" so much! It gives people so much hopes, it's a showcase of my imagination, and what makes it so different from the other fairytale is that it brings reality into the scene.

Yes... boring... stiffening.... our everyday REALITY.

There's a fairytale in each of us.. it's up to you to believe it:D

And i really do... there'll be a happily-ever-after, though may require lots of work.. but we can still make it happen... love is about 2 people working hard together on the relationship... accepting each other's flaws... never forgetting what makes them fall in love in the first place:D

There's a prince out there for all girls! (oops only nice girls) He could just be out there... got lost... and is too proud to ask for direction:p

Mine is definitely too proud. HAHA

I'm very happy today because I watched this wonderful movie with my 2 best friends:D

Also... i've a liking for full feminine looking dresses>.<

In the X'mas mood...

Went to Orchard with Bang Zhu yesterday to unwind... visited Far East, Cineleisure, Ngee Ann City... haha in the end i spent all my money on 2 hairbands and food.

Bang Zhu bought a pair of shoes a cute tee shirt. Super happy...

Of cos as usual we splurged on neoprints again! But this time, our decorating time was cut short.. we only have like about 2 minutes to decorate 4 pictures!!!! so in the end 2 pictures was wasted :(

On our way home, Bang Zhu finally get to see the lights on the crowded walkway...

I know it's blurred... my hand is shaky ma..

Beautiful lightings that alternate between dim and bright.. sounds romantic but i think they wana save light energy ba... sigh sorry if i burst your bubbles...

Beautiful X'mas tree ruined by my poor photography skills... but then again it's a phone cam ma.. heeeeee

I wanna watch Enchanted, Stardust and HERO... but no $$$$

btw wahaha very happy yesterday... cos O called... to give me a surprise.. looks like he is having problems of his own... tried to help but the adult don't reveal much... hmm... nvm... looking forward to see him soon in France.. haha if could afford.

Pizza Hut Birthday Celebration

Yesterday... me Qi Yu and Agnes threw a mini party for Ms Ashidah at Pizza Hut... ya it's the same place i complained about =D

This time round the food came on faster... within one minute after ordering we got our drinks..

And then 5 minutes later our soups arrived... chicken broth... NICE!

After which Qi Yu's Calamari Salad is here... Qi Yu being a generous kind soul gave away her Calamari rings which Ash and I digged into.

Very crispy and the mayonaise was great... Qiyu finished it before the pizza... timing was perfect.

And then came Ash's pasta and my beef lasagne...

Ash said the pasta was good... for me the lagsane was okay... i only like the beef and the cheese not so for the pasta inside.. but if you're really hungry you can finished it off.. which i didn't becos i'm a picky eater..

And finally our pizza tadaaaaaaaaa........

Deluxe Cheese Crispy thin... yum yum

Wanted to order either an ice cream or a cheesecake but then realised that we still have the birthday cake.

After we're done with the pizza i ordered the cake to be served.

And wow... the pizza hut crews were so nice... about 5 of them line up in a straight line with one of them holding the cake and they sang a birthday song for Ashidah!!! Only disappointing thing was that we forgot to video tape it! sigh

I can't think of one (title)

This week I've been rather down... I can't seemed to bring out the usual enthusiasm and liveliness in me..

mmmm.... hope it past by soon

O seems to have a new job.... so I don't get to see him online as much... only once last night which lasted only 5 minutes. Sigh... perhaps this is making me feel so lifeless..

It's just like an addiction.

Happy dreams' been entering my head these days... i dreamed of the children at my centre, van persie, me being very happy in my dreamworld... but I dunno why... I've never dreamed of O... my best friend, soul mate, big brother.

Also, I've realised that I'm being more or less a coward these days since i entered poly. Am I a changed person??? What happened to the Linda who used to be confident enough to act according to what she thought she should and the Linda who's not afraid of challenges? I even thought of skipping NAPFA (which is tmr) a couple of weeks ago~!!!

What can I say??? Linda, you're WEAK WEAK WEAK! Wake up now!

OK... feeling better now... i promised myself to me more daring from today on.

Went online to search for pictures of cute babies, especially those with blue eyes >.< I'm really into eyes now cos i think children's eyes are beautiful... it's like their eyes could talk.. so cute... hee hee^^ I also find children with brown eyes to be innocent, adorable... but none could compete with my Rimus!!! =D here's a few I really wanna be a child again... at least no troubles when it comes to matters of the heart.

Was screaming my lungs off when Arsenal equalised on 2 occasions.

Lots of drama on the pitch... after yesterday's match I was totally convinced why MANYOO was the team to hate.

1) Anderson's drama mama Oscar winning performance... though not totally convincing he have the man in yellow convinced not to give him a yellow card.

2) Anderson's (again?!) headbutt... in which our Flamini being the wiser one by not retaliating. Again the man in yellow was blind. Wow this time Mr Anderson escaped an early shower!

3) Ronaldo's diving attempts. (enough said)

4) Vidic's and van de sar's attempt to scoop out the goal after it had went in about half the width of the net. They thought everyone around was blind.... well the man in yellow was last night.

5) Rooney's first goal which gave MANYOO the lead was resulted from a foul dismissed by the man in yellow.

Many more to add on but I'm in a happy mood so i'll stop here:D

Cesc's super goal have me shaking even till now.... I'm so glad I'm a gooner (since 1998)!!! yeah!!!!=D

Being sick is not bad at all, not bad at all=D

I was sick since last tue... terrible cold that's giving me a headache, chest irritation, running nose and a sickening cough.

Missed school on Thursday, had a terrible time in school today because of my horrible cough and headache which made my head feels heavy.

But since Tuesday when i was sick, O has been with me and even gave me a homemade recipe for fast cold relief.

O's homemade recipe for super fast cold relief:

*Add alcohol,honey, citrus juice into a bowl of boiling water.

*Put a towel over your head and breathe in the vapour deeply, till the mixture cooled down.

*Drink the mixture after it has cooled down.

I don't know how effective it is as I'm allergic to alcohol so I didn't try.

He also mentioned about drinking a glass of warm milk before bed.

I really like all that attention from him hee hee

i really hope his interview go successfully...

We've a promise to celebrate our birthdays together next year... hope it come true! What a coincidence that we are both born in the month of August! Perfect siblings birthday party=D

This year I'm wishing for the impossible... that I would be able to spend lots of time with the 2 boys in my life... okok 3... cannot forget Ryan!!! haha I still love Ryan! It's just that I love his brother a little bit more XP
