Rounding up 2007

Was inspired by my brother, who gave me the idea for rounding up this year with my very own "Top 10 lists" for any topic....

But Top 10 is too much i think... i think i will put down only Top 3... haha

here I goooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Linda's 2007 Top 3 lists for ANYTHING...

1. Top 3 inspiring characters

1) Witch Yoo Hee

Why? I admired her for great haircut, which inspired me to cut mine. Also, her strong personality and skilled self-defence against baddies makes her a role-model for all women.

2) Julianne from "My best friend's wedding" (played by Julia Roberts)

Why? She helped me see things better... what's never meant to be yours will never be.

3) Korean music artistes

Why? i never knew that Korean music could be so inspiring and touching. Try Goong OST & Witch Yoo Hee OST.

Top 3 TV characters

1) Dean Winchester

Why? Because my mum is also a fan... because he's fearless... which i aspired to be... And because i got his autograph!!!!!!!!!

2) Michael Scofield

Why? Because he could risk it all for his brother... which makes him a fearless character too..

3) Melissa from "Ghost Whisperer"

Why? Because she helps the wandering spirits of the dead.

Top 3 athletes

1) Robin van Persie

Why? Never mind the fact that he's been sidelined for more than 3 months... he's still a HERO.

2) KAKA

Why? Because he beat CR for FIFA World player of the year.

3) Cesc Fabregas

Why? Because he lead arsenal to almost all their victories and the fact that he likes to criticize the referee a lot.

Why? Because it has always been Arsenal FC.

Why? For beating Man U.... thank you very much!!!!!!!!!

Tis the season to be jolly Lalalalala...

Went to the X'mas eve party organised by CM's Loners Party (LP)...

And it was really fun!!!!! I had a great time there even though I've to leave early... sigh... curfew at 19... >.<

The dream before X'mas

Had a sweet dream yesterday...

Dreamt of someone who i did not expect to enter my dream (NO, not O), and it was rather interesting... cos i was engaged to him... strange dream

Dreamt that I lived on the 17th floor of an exclusive condo...

Dreamt that I was taking my sister out.... with my close friends...

Dreamt that I was putting on my favourite dress...

It was almost perfect..... .....

Is this a going to be my X'mas miracle???

Mr Lim

Yesterday at Novena I saw Mr Lim... I was so shocked that I left my mouth hanging for a couple of second.

He was with someone... probably his wife... and he starred at me for 5 seconds before turning away.

I should have called out to him......

It's been about 4 years since i last saw him....

He's a really nice person from what I can remember... hope he's doing fine now...

I want Rimus &Ryan for X'mas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went to the childcare today to interview 2 kids....

As I was seated facing the toddler's class... my eyes would wander from time to time and somehow fixated on the same spot..

There he was.... my Rimus=D

He saw me too and was smiling so brightly:D

And he waved at me... before i did....

wah!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so happy!

Even though i was seated quite far away... about 6 to 7 metres away...

He looked so happy to see me:) I guess this is called 'yuan fen' ba... out of so many kids in the world i chose him...

And he chose me=D

Ryan... i still love you cos you're the first child that ever touches my heart! And the fact that you're Rimus's brother was such as cute coincidence!!!!=D

I am starting to miss you again... :'(

Went out with Qi Yu and Ashidah today... haha actually wanted to watch movie but in the end shopping sounded better!=D

Had our meal at J entertainment today... shopped around watson before spending the next 4 hours in Jurong Point...

spend lots of $$$$$ on X'mas presents for papa, Xiao di and bangzhu...

I was thinking... if i happen to be rich i would have gotten my friends great presents... this has always been my dream but it has yet to come true... 'you xin we li' haha

Really happy today though i got a terrible headache when I got home...

We should hang out again someday shall we ^.-

sick bug go away!

Dunno what happened to my stomach these days.... decreased appetite.... numb taste buds...

A few days ago i ate some chocolates and felt nauseous the rest of the day... at some point i even felt like vomiting...

Sigh... of all time... during my holidays :'(

Oh ya I was so happy last night even though i was running a slight fever... I stayed up till 2am in the morning supporting my favourite team in the world.

2)Adebayor was fouled before he scored the 3rd goal. (fouled? so the chelsea player was right to stop him physically from scoring?)

But at the end of the day.. we won!!! =D

3 vital points from Arsenal's most hated rival. YIPEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

I can gloat about this the whole week.

Christmas is coming soon... will I finally get what I've been wishing for all this while?

new haircut

I got myself a new haircut...... something like a bob one

I wonder how Rimus will react to it... will he still recognize me???

It's been 4 or 5 years since i last have short hair... and this time it's rather short.

Can't wait to see Rimus tomorrow!!!!

I am happy today because of my very kind poly classmates who commented very kindly on my new haircut. Even though i was not confident with it.

O will be so shocked to see it.... cos he've always seen me in long hair...

wonder if i really made the right choice? cos it's not easy to grow back to it's full length now...

Haiz.....

It's been 4 days since I last talked to O. And I think our last conversation was left on a bad note. Knew something about O which I disliked but what can I do?

Now, I can only make myself think that he had been busy the past few days due to work.

What's yours is yours, what isn't will never be. :'(

Not something that i could get used to but i will try. Don't wanna be too reliant on anything.

Been missing Rimus terribly these days... really hope i could clone him and keep him forever:)

Went shopping with Bang Zhu after school last Friday. Went to Captivating to shop for my supposedly new year clothes. Even with the 30 % discount for first piece and 1/2 price on the second one the prices were still steep. I saw a bubble dress for $69.90 and tried it after much persuasion from Bang Zhu. I liked how i looked in the mirror after trying and decided to buy it.

Bangzhu bought a casual top and she agreed to split the total cost together=D which was $35 for each of us.

Been very busy with school work but i thought it was good to get myself preoccupied. I really love the show "Witch Yoo Hee" and i love her bob haircut! Was thinking of getting a haircut like hers but i guess i wasn't ready for such a short hairdo. I've pretty bad experienced with short hairdos before i was 15 because i was forced into cutting short hair all the time.

Maybe i will try it when i turned 21. heeee Was thinking of cutting my hair this monday as i wanted a pleasant change.

i really hope Arsenal wins tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Man yoo and Chelski won last night and Liverpool lost:'(

Been eating a lot these past few weeks... and mostly the same things... waffles, cheese fries, bubble tea, cheesecakes, chocolates, fried chicken, takoyaki.....

I hope my weight remains the same.

My family made a bet among ourselves on which premier league team would win the title this season.

I don't know

My mummy told me something today that really surprised me... she can read me very well indeed... just like Charis... sometimes I think that they might be the same person... SCARY...

Indeed what they told me are exactly the same thing... i was wondering.. did they rehearse beforehand??? oh my i'm going crazy!!!

Mummy told me relationship depends on fate... who you bumped into... especially when you least expect it... it all comes down to FATE.

Who is the one who loved/liked you in silence... and you never knew about it? The one who treated you well and supported you in some small ways that you failed to realise? When all along you've been blinded by someone else whom you thought you really liked?

Well that makes some sense... it had me thinking over it....

How true can this be?? I don't know for now... because I don't think i'll be such a lucky person=D
I've met some really nice people in my lives... and they're really nice to me so considering this fact i guess i'm quite fortunate:)

And not to miss out on the little ones (Rimus, Darian, Ryan.... oops... hee hee been talking about them all the time)=D It's a priceless experience to have!

But I'm still a human being after all, if someone showed me kindness I would feel really touched... really really happy:) even if it's just a small thing..

I would like to take this opportunity to list now the people who I'm very glad to have in my life=D

Little Children makes my day

Went back to the centre last Wednesday and yesterday... my eyes were searching for Rimus as usual...

Unfortunately, Rimus's class was getting ready to go outdoor so I didn't see much of him.

But when my group and I had to leave the centre to get something, Rimus's class was returning to the centre from their ourdoor play.

I rushed to Rimus, much to the anticipation of my group members...

I asked Rimus if he still remember me (ji de wo mah?)

He flashed his megawatt smile and muttered something like "ji de".

And then Rimus patted me twice on the back before rejoining his class.

I wished that 30 seconds i had with Rimus could be captured and replayed again and again...

We were in the centre till about 12.00pm... when we were getting ready to leave, Darian (my third love.. second was Ryan) was being punished by the teacher during shower time.

While serving his punishment outside the toilet... he saw me and called out to me affectionately...
"Lindaaaaaaa..."

With a super cute smile on his face:)

Haha yes he called me by my name... and I was so happy to hear it=D

I noticed that Darian is one of the few toddlers who remembered me... and my name =D

Yesterday when my group was getting ready outside the centre and Darian's father happened to drop him off, Darian kept looking over my side and smiling... the kind of smile that showed off his teeth and tells 'i know you, happy to see you:)'

I love you Darian=D I realised that he is getting chubbier and cuter... haha

When i was on my way home after Fri's visit, i chanced upon the playgroup during their outdoor play.

I was greeted by the enthusiastic bunch who repeatedly called out to me as though i was some sort of a superstar... haha at least i felt like one.

TEACHER LINDA TEACHER LINDA TEACHER LINDA BYE BYE BYE BYE!!!

I just love this feeling so much!!! it makes me feel so important!

These days I've been having major headaches almost everyday... dunno why... stress? I don't think so ba... i usually got over things pretty soon and calm when dealing with things.

I hope it goes away soon.
