L.... my hero

So here I am because I had just been "pon tang" by The Little Skool House...

Supposed to reach by 10am for my assessment (to see whether I qualify) and at 8.35am they changed it to 4.30pm -.-"

15 more min and I'll be out of the house le... think I'll be more sian then..

Never mind.... now I have the time to blog a little about what happened to me recently..

Yesterday interview at the Little Skool House was so formal and strict that I wasn't the least prepared for it... sigh

Immediately after the interview they gave me an assignment which is to prepare a lesson with the toddlers... I spent 4 hours to prepare the necessary props for my storytelling session today... and they pon me... ><

Watched the movie: "L Changed the World" with Charis and QiYu my 2 twins:D

Oh my i didn't know there was gory scenes so at times I closed my eyes to shut off from those disgusting images...

But I love the movie!!! Because of L of cos!!! my initial is also L.... haha

L is super cool and cute!!! and brainy!!!!

When i told my mother how cute he is she shouted at me: jian gui lah!!!

hahaha my brother also don't like L.... wait till they see this movie... which I don't mind watching again!! =D

I am going to decorate my room with L posters.... hoping that my father don't step into my room or he will scream at me cos he also thinks L looks like a ghost ><

No family support but I still like L:D

The Little Skool House

Received a call from an unknown lady 2 days ago...

i couldn't hear her very well as she was talking in a really strong accent and there was background noises.

She told me I was accepted into the Little RAFFLES school house at Raffles place as an assistant teacher...

My first reaction was: WAH! Ang moh kids???? And I was pretty worried too...

I searched for the school in the internet and indeed I was starting to believe that my nightmare was really coming true...

True, i find ang moh kids very cute but then i have never taught them and that i'll be more comfortable with our local NTUC kids.

So i have a couple of sleepless nights because of this....

Then today, I have a feeling that i better call the centre to confirm the location again... cos I apply via NTUC website... how can they send me to an angmoh school???

I was right.... the principal told me it was THE LITTLE SKOOL HOUSE. -.-" Under NTUC Childcare but it caters to the middle and high income group... And she asked if i could work full time instead of part time.

sigh.....

I wonder who was on the line 2 days ago....

Am i disappointed??? A little ba... cos i was brainwashing myself the past 2 days that angmoh kids are very cute... their english standard very good blah blah...

And now i can't get to see them >.<

Beeen very busy these past few nights setting up my blog business... so many things to do... so little time >.<

Starting work tomorrow le... i hope the kids are nice to me.... cos i am starting to miss my NTUC kids now!!! ><

God Bless Eduardo

After watching the terrifying match between Birmingham and Arsenal I nearly broke down and cried...

Eduardo da Silva of Arsenal had been kicked in the ankle resulting in a broken ankle... it was so severe that i was shaking thoughout the match and the other players turned away in shock right after the accident... I was still feeling grossed out while i am typing this...

It was the first time i have seen such a terrible accident live on television... i was so shocked that i couldn't talk for a moment...Eduardo just laid there motionless.... while the physiologists and doctors were hard at work... everyone players on the field were having blank expressions on their faces...

I sincerely wish with all my heart that Eduardo could walk normally again and resume his football career... for he is a great player for Arsenal and certainly doesn't deserve such a horrifying injury...

As for the player who did that to him..... you better be sorry....

Miscellaneous stuff

Mmm... been resting these days... been stuck at home since Thursday due to a virus... or should i call it having the lack of blood needed for normal functioning of the body... mmm.. what do you call that???? sigh..

Will talk about some interesting things that happened during my homestay... haha

About a few days ago my father encountered a freakish incident while he was driving...
as he was driving down an road lined with many trees... something plopped down on this car's front glass panel and gave my dad the shock of his life...

It was a SNAKE!!!!

A greenish snake that measures about 2m long... and it was stuck there for good...

My father stoned for a few seconds before he got out of his car and picked the longest branch he could find....

After that, as quickly as he could, he poked the snake, which curled around the branch and disappeared among the bush when my dad swung his arm.

My dad returned to his car and called my auntie... whom i think is a fortune teller... and asked her what this sign might mean.. (the encounter with the snake)... haha

After words spread around my relatives everyone is buying my dad's car plate number for 4D... haha funny people...

Had a terrible headache on Friday night due to that illness... at one point I even wanted to chop my head off... terrible terrible pain... watched "Survivor" with my mum and we chatted a lot... realised that I didn't really spend a lot time with her and is feeling kinda guilty... trying to make it all up in the holis... I love my mum=D

Been helping my mum out with the housework... which can be worse than doing homework but it is so rewarding:D Like you played an important role in the family..... haha now i realised being a housewife is not easy at all... really salute my mummy...

Still looking for a job these days but guess I wanna take it easy first... been feeling so tired and I really wanna spent more time with my mum and friends...

Saw a lot of cute children when i was out last week... :D somehow they always light me up! hope i can kidnap one to play with at home heeee!!!

Been feeling lousy these days.... hope I'll find a new miracle this loooooong holiday...

I love anime!!!!!!!!

Just completed the second set of the anime Fushigi Yuugi for a second time... my favourite character is Tasuki!!!!! I like Tamahome a lot too!

I was so hooked on it that i imagined myself to be in the other world... kinda fascinating i think... it has always been what i wanted... Miaka is such a lucky girl...

Went to Orchard with Charis yesterday to get my mineral makeup... oh my god... super ex... sigh... why do i have sensitive skin???? -.-" But i like their blushes:D so nice... might be going back to get it... hope my father strike lottery... haha

After which charis and me meet up with Jo, Jiamin and Huimin for the movie "Kungfu dunk"..

OMG... the movie was soooooooo nice!!!!!!!!! Didn't expect it cos I'm not a fan of Jay Chou... I like the Captain chen bolin he is so cooool!!! even though he's an alcoholic :p

Overall very satisfied with the movie... great fighting scene and lots of funny moments...:D inspired me to take up competitive sports again:D:D:D

Arsenal leads by 5 points!!!!!!!!!!!!! yeah!!!!!!! I hope van persie comes back soon....

My mum bought for me a ladies Arsenal Jersey!!! I am going to put van persie's name behind it.

Had a bad dream last night... dreamt that my mother was bullied and I threatened to beat the person up but she got away... think it was a fat aunt... also dreamt that Rimus cried when i carried him... like he no longer recognize me... oh my!!!!!! I will never want this to happen!!!!

was kinda happy yesterday because of the outing and also that O is feeling better!! hmmm... hope O is happy forever=D

p.s... I want to see my red hair guy in my dream again!!! :p

Dream

Let me talk a little about my dream last night...

Was having a conversation on msn with a friend who is very important to me and it wasn't pleasant but i was feeling fine surprisingly...

Was thinking about what he said all the time... until i fell asleep...

I dreamt of him telling me the same thing he did on msn.... and then I walked away... and there was this guy with very fair skin, tall, skinny with red hair taking me on his bike...

I was carrying lots of shopping bags ( i dunno why too) and this guy, in a slightly irritated manner he offered to help me carry them as he took me for a spin on his bike...

He claimed to know my weijie gor gor (my nanny's son and my godbrother) and surprisingly some of my friends too!

Haha it feels like I've known him for a long time cos we talked a lot about our family stuffs etc... then he dropped both of us off at a mrt station (dunno where) and I dashed up the stairs and this guy was like : " HEY HEY HEY" in a fatherly strict tone... haha

After that.... I can't remember le.... :'(

Haha but nonetheless I was in a better and even good mood though I kept thinking about certain things too...

Haha hope to see the red headed guy again in my dream... wonder where he'll take me to this time... haha hope he is friendlier this time... but ironically i kinda liked his rudeness to me!!! :D It's just so funny...

Received many photos from my relatives in Thailand today... (I love them!!) Hope to visit them soon...

Chinese New Year!!!!

This year would be my 20th Chinese new year celebration >.<>.< cos my cousins all have children and now i feel so old...

haha But i enjoy the children's company a lot cos they are all so cute!!! :D Especially my dearest Ethan... the 4 months old baby... who is very attached to my mama:D I got to carry him in my arms and it felt really heartwarming:)

But i still do not like Chinese new year... I guess most of you will feel the same way too... rotting at my relative house for 5 hours (ya same house) for Day 1,then move on to second house, third... forth and finally back to my house where I have to help out my mum to whip up a meal for the guests.. so everything ends near 10pm from morning...

I am sad on the second day cos my father don't want to visit my nanny house... super unhappy but i would rather not talk about it.

This year is very different because there are so many children for me to play with!!!! I realised that i clicked better with them rather than with my cousins so I wasn't bored this year...

1st outing after graduation

Went out with my dearest friends from np... none other than QiYu, Ash & Gill.... Agnes couldn't joined us cos she got a doctor appointment.

After passing up our last assignment in school, which signify the end of our struggles... we felt totally relieved and welcomed our new found freedom...

We headed to Ash's auntie house to see baby Yusof!!!! He is so cute and really hard to handle too... as he is very active.. he also like to smile and laugh a lot!!! so cute..

After which we took a bus to Pasir Ris park and we found a bicycle rental shop where we spent about 20 minutes choosing a suitable bike for each of us...

It cost $5 an hour but the uncle gave us an extra hour free=D so it's only $2.50 an hour:):):)

It was such a refreshing feeling cycling down the path next to the sea coast... the sea breeze felt cooling and the weather was great! The sun was just right and the temperature was below 30 degree i think..

After cycling for about an hour we felt really tired and stopped by the playground to rest... however... the site had too many fun corners and the four of us couldn't resist giving each of them a go...

Our favourite was the saucer... where we were spin 360 degree mid-air... okok i am exaggerating.. we were suspended at least 5 ft high at one point...

We climbed all the way up the web to have a go at this slide but we couldn't slide down cos it wasn't smooth enough... so we ended up stuck there >.<

We proceeded to White Sand shopping centre to have our dinner at Cavana. Ash ordered hotplate black paper chicken, Qi Yu ordered teriyaki noodles, while Gill ordered laksa and me Sambal Fish rice...

In the end Gill and I swopped our meals cos i do not like mine and Gill preferred mine=D

After dinner, we took np as a group to mark our graduation day:) 3 years just flew by.... i couldn't believe it...

Will miss Ngee Ann dearly... so proud to be in this school..

My lovely Nursery Class

Really really happy to talk to O today... :) Though can't really see much of O on msn... the little time we chatted became really meaningful and important:) missed baby james too

Visited my ex nursery class yesterday:)

They're now in K1!!! I've watched Ryan grew since he was 2!

But i didn't get to see my Rimus... sigh

Was really happy as the children shouted out my name when i entered the centre... they still remembered me and missed me too!!!!!!!!!

My only embarrassing moment was when i couldn't differentiate between the twins, kimmie and kimberly and I called Kimmie "kimberly" by mistake...

Cute Kimmie: "No... I Kimmie... Kimberly there! Neh! *pulls me to another table* There here Kimberly!

Kimberly: ... ... ...... *surprised expression

Then my dear Ryan said: Teacher Linda, wo xiang ni eh... (i missed you)

I caressed his cheeks and Chanel said: Teacher Linda i also want you to touch my face... haha =D

And in the end I caressed 20 pairs of cheeks... haha

It feels so great to be remembered, missed and appreciated...

I hope I can continue to touch children's life and earn their love and trust...

I will always remember my nursery class of 2007:)
