Trip to Pulau Ubin on Mother's day

Went to Pulau Ubin last Sunday as my father said he needed to "guo hai"(travel by sea) to remove his bad luck...

I was initially against the idea as I dreamt of a tsunami in Singapore the night before and the next day he mentioned this.

But still I go ahead with the arrangement and I didn't regret one bit!!! Cos it was so fun to travel on a boat!! too bad I was too absorbed with the sea view while aboard that i didn't took any pics:(

Sadly, when we reached the island... the sea was loaded with rubbish... my sister overheard one angmoh said it was 'full of trash'.

We then proceeded to a small temple to pray and then to a bigger and older one. My father even chided my mother on why we have to pray 2 times. lol

I still don't wanna get near the sea alone.. so scary...

The dog that kept following us... and scared the hell out of my sister.

I just love the countryside!

Saw a couple of cute children on the way... and I thought I saw Rimus!!!! The mini size boy had his head away from me so for one moment I really thought it was my darling!

Then, my parents stopped by the garden where the residents there took care of some really beautiful flowers... mummy said some of them are at least 10 years old..

Pulau Ubins very own Christmas tree....

After which the whole family proceeded to Changi Beach for a family picnic... and there was a very pleasant surprise!!!

When we were chatting under a tree a beautiful flower fell onto my mummy's lap!!! It was the perfect mother's day gift!!!!!!

Will be there again next year!!!!
